It is like a push; it helps you start&nbsp;something still you have to run the whole race with your&nbsp;strength. But it IS one of the most essential spice in the curry&nbsp;named humanity.-When you are young, we look at the celebrities and aspire to&nbsp;be as famous, as rich, as charming as them and we want to do&nbsp;the same thing. You just saw Stan Lee’s interview and at the&nbsp; next moment you want to become a superhero comic creator,&nbsp;you look at Akshay Kumar and you want to be an actor.What people conceive as inspiration is exactly the opposite of&nbsp;it, a baseless desire. “Bro, it was an inspiring movie.” Or “I&nbsp;want to be the richest man on earth, dude.”, all of these are but&nbsp;desires. Let me give you some examples-These are not inspiration; these are desires backed by a little&nbsp;enthusiasm and almost non-existent determination.On the other hand, people say that when they see a particularly&nbsp;disturbing/ fascinating/ eye-capturing moment, they come to&nbsp;know what they want and start working on it. Like--An unemployed person, who gets yelled at by his parents,&nbsp;watches a beggar dying one day. And in the moment, he&nbsp;realises his mistake and starts working hard etc. etc.But do any of the above thoughts linger on your mind for more&nbsp;than a month?I don’t believe that. It’s just a work of adrenaline- fueled brain&nbsp;that lasts long only in movies. You have to get inspired&nbsp;frequently for a particular goal you are interested in, but inspiration about other goals may mislead you leaving your&nbsp; work incomplete.Determination, hard work and skill need a strong base to be&nbsp;held upon-inspiration. You can’t afford to build the base weak.&nbsp;You have to make sure that your inspiration will hold up&nbsp;together till you don’t need it anymore, when you are familiar&nbsp;with the routine and the work.-If you are inspired to do something one day, don’t. -If you get same inspiration some days later, don’t. -You get the same inspiration a few weeks later, research about&nbsp;the goal and the path leading to it and be ready to jump. -You get the same inspiration more than a month later, you&nbsp;better get on the train for it is taking you towards your goal.Point being: Triple check if it is really an inspiration or just some fantasy roaming through your mind. If it is really an inspiration you will realise mid-journey that it is going to be the greatest journey of your life. BUT, if you take action on those baseless thoughts, you will realise mid-journey that you have lost the most important thing in your life; time.So, be wise and don’t foolishly start acting upon every single&nbsp;thought in your mind.Inspiration is a complex thing looked upon in the simplest way. Inspiration is overrated. It is like a push; it helps you start something still you have to run the whole race with your strength. But it IS one of the most essential spice in the curry named humanity.

-When you are young, we look at the celebrities and aspire to be as famous, as rich, as charming as them and we want to do the same thing. You just saw Stan Lee’s interview and at the  next moment you want to become a superhero comic creator, you look at Akshay Kumar and you want to be an actor.

What people conceive as inspiration is exactly the opposite of it, a baseless desire. “Bro, it was an inspiring movie.” Or “I want to be the richest man on earth, dude.”, all of these are but desires. Let me give you some examples-

These are not inspiration; these are desires backed by a little enthusiasm and almost non-existent determination.

On the other hand, people say that when they see a particularly disturbing/ fascinating/ eye-capturing moment, they come to know what they want and start working on it. Like-

But do any of the above thoughts linger on your mind for more than a month?

If it is really an inspiration you will realise mid-journey that it is going to be the greatest journey of your life. So, be wise and don’t foolishly start acting upon every single thought in your mind.

Inspiration is a complex thing looked upon in the simplest way. But if you’re having fun doing something productive, inspiration isn’t needed.
