80/20 principle

Would you like watching loki's final episode while hammering 3 nails on the same wall? Then why do that when in a conversation?

Focus on the other person 80% of the times and on yourself 20% of the times.

and NEVER on distractions. Would you feel good when you're discussing something to someone and that person opens facebook and scrolls with his earbuds on.

So 2 things here-

  1. Focus on them 100%. 100
  2. Let them talk 80% of the time and minimalise your side of talking to 20% or less.

Search for serve

Everytime you meet a person, search for how can you serve them. everywhere. do they need a cup of coffee? a discount from your company? maybe there's a book you know can help them. an ap you use will hel them. some knowledge.

It has been experimented and proven and proven and proven that when you help someone you get help in return.

There was a guy. This guy gave a rose to every person who arrived at the airport. and asked for a donation to his cause. 99.9% did. maybe not happily but they did. This tells you that what you give to the world comes to you in return.
