My Personal Take

It is not logical to avoid certain food and drinks like tea , coffee on the basis that it can cause teeth staining . We just need to reduce frequent intake and maintain a consistent oral hygiene practice.

I would advice oral Check up and Teeth cleaning/ scaling once in every year.

For teeth whitening, recommendation from a professional dentist is advised after check up.
