We can just by mere observation make out the people with the fixed or the growth mindset.

People answered hard questions at the survey lab and ones with a fixed mindset were only interested when the feedback reflected on their ability. The Brain Waves showed them paying close attention to when they were told wheter their answers were wrong or correct.

But when they were presented with the information that could help them learn, there was no sign of interest.

Only people with a growth mindset paid close attention to information that could strech their knowledge.

For them, learning was a PRIORITY.
