Repressing an emotion means you know it’s happening but you don’t want to or don’t know how to express that emotion and you don’t experience it. In a way, emotional blocking means not understanding your emotion .

You repress your feelings because you think you shouldn’t be feeling them. This confusion makes you lose emotional freedom.
