It’s time to make a habit

Charles Duhigg’s The Power of Habit suggests that habits are actually uncommonly easy to understand.

There are just three steps.

  • Create a cue. For example, when you first wake up in the morning, When you listen to a specific album. When you first sit down at your desk.
  • Routine. Ensure that the place is set up for your cue to practice. For example, your paper is clean, your pencil sharpened, your reference prepared.
  • Reward. Find a way to have some fun times, such as sharing what you drew.
