1. It's temporary and things will get better!

Take life with a pinch of salt, don't be so hard on yourself! When I tell you that any stress/anxiety/pain you feel that you think's never going to end won't last forever that just makes it better. So when you're in the moment and not enjoying it for some reason, take a lens into the a future a little and ponder on that rather than beating yourself about it. E.g exam grades -you'll be crying for 10 minutes but after that you'll have the ice cream you were meant to anyways so just skip the crying since it wasn't gonna be how you felt for the whole day.

3. Your version of joy will always change

The time when you look back at what you got when you were 5 and laugh at it, don't you think that it's so weird how such silly things would bring you joy? A piece of play dough oh my 🙄 We don't realise that at one point we wished...
