On social media face filters

Social media face filters are subtle ways of telling people that being beautiful means not having pimples, blemishes, etc. This narrative is harmful because it pushes a non-inclusive and (almost) unattainable idea of beauty. I believe that eyebags and pimples are part of what it takes to be a human. Humans are not Barbie dolls. We get tired and stressed out.
