Attraction is based on our values, the criteria that we have set for certain someone who will qualify to date us. We desperately seek that for immediate comfort we need, a sort of validation we seek from the society around us. It's scale that dooms us into failed after failed relationships and meaningless crushes and dreams. We are not interested in their talks, in their interests but in fitting them even by mental force in to that list of values.
