Encourage them to tell more about themselves, this helps you to decode the real face of that person. Be an observer, observe the person's behaviour, character, mindset, qualities ( positive as well as negative ), etc. We should treat people like we read books. First, observe the cover because first impression matters. Then read the index to know the content and if any topic excites you, try to know more about that. Go deeper into that conversation about that topic. This helps you to learn and get the experience from that person's life.

Treat people like the books:

If you like something about the person appreciate it genuinely and honestly. Honesty is the best quality anybody can possess. If you don't like anything then try to handle it with a positive response but don't hide the truth because an honest reply is way better than a creamy lie.
