Believe it or not, we can't imagine the complete impact light has on us. That is not a surprise, taking into account that even plants' nutrition depends entirely on it. Albeit, what we know is on which moments light is beneficial for us.For instance, if we take our lowest corporal temperature as a reference (which occurs around 2 hours before our regular time of waking up), we could realize that exposure after that time, will lead to a boost in energy, but exposure before that time (i.e., when you scroll down on social media) could lead to problems impairing your sleep schedule.

How our vision connects to our mood is bidirectional. In a sense, when we feel anxious, we see our environment overwhelming, and that makes us more anxious. How could we take advantage of that? By using our vision better.Looking at the complete perspective has been linked with a sense of relaxation, that's why when we are in front of an amazing landscape we feel relaxed. On the contrary, when our eyes aim at certain objects or people, we feel either stressed or excited.

Impact of Vision in Our Mood

It made me understand how small changes (almost insignificant changes) from a biological perspective, also lead to good results. For instance, the way we try to optimize our performance depends on a few key things: sleep, exercise, and thoughts about life.

We all have been listening to the importance of journaling and manifestations, but not together, and what Hugh Jackman says he does is that, he journals what his day is going to be in past, so that he manifests what he wants to achieve on each activity. Afterwards, he grades how the day really went relative to that manifestations.

Even though this rule was known for me in a sense by the phrase I listened to once: "approach things sincerely rather than seriously", it is good to bear that in mind reformulated with the 85% rule, which actually stands for how we could increase our overall performance by giving that 15% which is missing to enjoyment and well-being.

Everyone who is interested in creating good habits, specifically someone who is trying to understand how high-performers apply them to their day to day life. 🕹 Main highlights and ideas

I think this has been one of my favorite podcast from the Tim Ferriss show, specially because it made me change my mind about actors and their day to day lives. Sometimes, we think that actors are blessed human beings who are being gifted with money without a lot of effort, this podcast made me think otherwise.

Sometimes, we think we will have time to spend with family and friends late in the day, but some days it is just impossible to make the time. Therefore, Hugh remarks the relevance of choosing to spend time with the loved ones first thing in the morning.
