The Difference Between Words

17 STASHED IDEAS

This term ‘it’s’ is actually ‘it is’ and is written in the short form which is our second confusing term for this article. It just like when we write ‘she had’ as ‘she’d’. The term is actually shortened to save some space. It is a simple English writing norm and nothing special.

Example 1: It is a beautiful day.

If you are capable of reading this article, you must know enough English to understand that this is nothing complex and all you need to do is to look through the examples to understand the difference.

I hope the article was enough to help you remove the confusion between ‘it’s’ and 'its'.

Toxic comparison

To break free from the temptation to compare, audit your social media feeds.

If you find yourself thinking about how your life matches up to a friend’s when you’re not on social media, try to shift your perspective. Think about their human traits, vulnerabilities, and things that you have in common. When you change your mindset, you can move from a place of jealousy to a place of empathy.

  • Hunger is the ‘need’ to eat food as your body instructs you to do so. The first sign of hunger is a rumbling stomach. This is your body’s way of letting you know that it needs fuel.
  • Another difference between Hunger and Appetite is that you cannot control hunger since it is instinctive. You should not ignore hunger since this can have negative effects on the body.
  • Not eating on time can cause fatigue and lack of focus. To alert you of hunger, your body gives you hunger pangs.
  • The muscles in the stomach walls contract when the body needs fuel and these are called hunger pangs.
