The types of questions that you’re going to get asked are going to be completely dependent on the client, your job role and the project that you’re going to be working on. • If you see that a manager has excluded one of their employees from a meeting, make sure to invite them and be clear that you extended the invitation.
  • If a manager is creating a negative narrative of an employee’s performance in talent planning sessions, speak up in the moment and ask them for evidence-based examples.
  • Enlist the help of others who have examples of their strong performance.

Questions: How do people misunderstand you?

Answer: Perceptions and the image being created is now as relevant as reality itself. What we are is not what others see at once. If we are passionate, co-workers can be overwhelmed by us. If we are quiet most of the time, bosses can see it as being unassertive.

You can talk about how you have diffused wrong perceptions or handled misunderstandings of your colleagues.
