If a zombie apocalypse happens, you will need community as community wins most of the time compared to being alone. We are not machines. Keep a 'bug out bag'. It is a bag of essential supplies you can grab when you need to leave the safety of your home. It should contain a lighter or waterproof matches, an emergency blanket, sleeping bag, freeze-dried food, flashlight, batteries, solar radio, water purifier, camping stove, knife, gun and medical kit. A bicycle is a classic bug-out vehicle.
