When you unconsciously overthink about something, start spelling out any word that you see, remember or comes to your mind. Spell it loudly and then read it loudly (the way we used to learn spellings in childhood). You must listen, what you spell.
Example: Apple (spell it this way-A...P...P...L...E.. one after one loudly) next, pronounce it.)
Awareness also called mindfulness can be achieved by practicing it. But I often wonder is there anyone in the world who can say that they have achieved the same level of awareness (present in the moment) when they were just 4 years old? I'm curious to know.
