When we're really, really anxious, we can't think straight.The key is to try to connect to your rational, thinking brain. When we really focus on thinking, like doing a math problem, our emotional brain calms down.Try a crossword puzzle or sudoku, reading a really juicy romance novel (we've got recs!) or getting through a pile of paperwork. Board your flight with plenty of distractions.

During a rough flight, your instinct might be to take slow, deep breaths to calm down. But don't try to stop the experience.Instead, try labelling your feelings. Remind yourself that your body is having a normal response to a perceived threat.Of course, that's different from feeding your anxiety by telling yourself, "Oh, my God, the plane is going to crash. Oh, my God, something bad is going to happen!"After you've named your fear, go back to the facts you gathered about aviation safety, and remind yourself that you're still safe.

If You Hit Turbulence, Don't Force Yourself to Calm Down

Fast-acting medications like Xanax or Valium can be useful tools. But take them as short-term anxiety killers, and do not rely on them for the long-term.Whatever you do, don't self-medicate or mix prescription pills with alcohol.

You ever felt like you are no good? Doubting your capabilities and accomplishments? Feeling low about yourself? Well, then you're not the only one. At least I am here battling with my scary thoughts like you.Here are a few things that can help you to be sure of yourself.

"Miracles happen only when you come out of your comfort zone." I know it's simply said than done. But trust me, start with small steps. You are certainly going to see the change over time. And remember, don't be super hard on yourself. "Pushing your limits" and "Pushing past your limits " have different outcomes.

Come Out Of Your Comfort Zone

That may be true...You either over-estimate yourself or undervalue the talents of the people around you. And as a matter of fact, It will be really painful and disheartening once you know the real truth. "Never think less of yourself, instead think yourself less"

Stop Over-estimating Yourself 

Were you indecisive while making your career choices? Couldn't you answer when somebody asked you about your favorites? Is it hard for you to list out your strengths and weaknesses? If so, you may be lacking self-awareness. We are always interested in knowing others' stuff, while at the same time, we don't bother to care about our own priorities.

Know Your Priorities 

Many things in the world would make us depressed. But never let them overpower you. Remember, everything will be simple if you know these three things - your real potential, what matters to you, and at last, be brave enough to challenge yourself.No doubt about it - You Are Worthy!!

1. Redefine Failure 

Goals can be classified as approach goals or avoidance goals based on whether you are motivated by wanting to achieve a positive outcome or avoid an adverse one. Psychologists have found that creating approach goals, or positively reframing avoidance goals, is beneficial for well-being.

    2. Set approach goals (not avoidance goals).

Author and investor Tim Ferriss recommends “fear-setting,” creating a checklist of what you are afraid to do and what you fear will happen if you do it.Make three lists: first, the worst-case scenarios if he bombed the interview; second, things he could do to prevent the failure; and third, in the event the flop occurred, what could he do to repair it.

3. Create a “fear list"

The chips aren’t always going to fall where you want them to — but if you understand that reality going in, you can be prepared to wring the most value out of the experience, no matter the outcome.
