Most of the time we work in auto mode. It's not bad, it's even suggested to reduce cognitive burden. BUT LIFE AS WHOLE SHOULDN'T BE IN AUTO - MODE.
And sometimes it takes a significant amount of time to realise that you need to reinvent your work or yourself.
To know whether what you are doing is worth your time do the following.
Step -1 - The SLEEP TEST/ WAKE UP TEST

" If You want to wake up ⇒ ✅
The key word = "WANT"
Everything else is ❌
* It doesn't mean that the mundane be neglected
( post queries for clarity).
One thing that we all stand by is that whatever we do, it should end with happiness & satisfaction. It sounds logical to think but difficult to implement or we fail to claim this fact in our lives.
Don't think hard, just look at your previous week & you will understand that you have sulked at work more than the efforts you have put. When asked about the way forward, the response is - it's not easy to quit or that's how work is.
To be honest, sometimes we need to take a leap of faith and trust our gut. You have all the right to claim back the activities or things which satisfy you or inspire you
