Work expands to the time available for its completion.Example: If we have to finish a report in two weeks, we will do it as demanded and present a finished, well-researched report by the end of two weeks. The interesting part is that if we had only three days to make that report, we would still do it. The fact that it took two weeks was just a mental deadline.﻿Too much time = Waste of time﻿Less time = Effective use of time

Parkinson's Law

<ul><li>Time log your work using a time-tracking app or just log it in your mind.</li><li>Have a clear vision for the task, vague ideas make you set long deadlines.</li><li>Set a deadline that makes you work effectively without wasting any time or being unable to finish in time.</li></ul>Allot a practical but relatively less time to a task for maximum work efficiency.

This method emphasizes that learning should be an active process of true comprehension gained through research, writing, explaining, and refining.

If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.

<ul><li>Choose a concept to learn and do an active reading of the concept from your preferred source material.</li><li>Write about the concept from your interpretation on paper and explain it as simply as you can, as if you were teaching it to someone, actually yourself.</li><li>Return to the source material where you get stuck and fill the gaps in your knowledge.</li><li>Reflect on, simplify and streamline your explanations, further clarifying the topic until it seems obvious.</li></ul>

Apply The Technique

Studying with a compromise of our mental and physical health isn't moral, neither will it help us in long term. Also, better health gives enhanced capabilities to learn.Hence, sleep well, eat well, drink lots of water and exercise regularly. Live a wholesome life.
