One thing I've learnt from communicating with different minds is that most of the people have a "Maybe" in their life.
Life gives only two options to you - either a YES or a NO! There's nothing in between.
Discard such people who give you a Maybe in every decision you go to make. They'll just pull you down.
May whatsoever the situation be, always go straight with a Yes or a No. Either you'll win or you'll lose, but you will be clear about what you did wrong!
