Lath Maar Holi in Barsana and Nandagaon

. As goes the legend, Lord Krishna along with his friends visited Barsana to play Holi with Radha and her friends. Till this day, men from Nandagaon dress as Krishna and visit Barsana to play Holi with the women there. The women, dressed as Radha, gleefully beat them with sticks, which explains the name “lath maar” Holi.
