I heard somewhere that in a human lifetime, even one who reads consistently will likely not read over 1000 books. Our time and our books are limited. So here is something I've begun doing.
Before I start a book, I ask myself, why am I reading this?
I then write down the answer on the front page.
When I finish reading, I ask myself what am I taking away from this, and how am I going to apply this to my life.
Try doing this.
I assure you, it will change your reading experience and your life.
Our books, like our time, are limited. Be smart and be cool.
-Sincerely,
BenE
