Reading at irregular intervals can become very stressful to your brain so pick a particular time of day you want to read and maintain consistency. This is what I do. I read 1 hour in the morning 2 hours in the afternoon and 3 hours at night so I read 6 hours daily this reduces the stress of reading and keeps me motivated as it makes reading less burdensome.
