... is so easy because it doesn’t involve any work. You can ignore it. You can puff some smoke at it. That’s easy. 

The hard thing to do is protect it, think about it, let it marinate, explore it, and try it. The right idea could start out life as the wrong idea.

The idea of time travel is a very recent idea that starts with H.G. Wells's 1895 novel, The Time Machine. After that, we find the concept in American science fiction, or in modernist literature - each twisting time in new ways, to explore the unpredictability of memory.

At this stage, you realise that your idea is probably not as ideal as you thought you were initially. However, that does not mean it is a bad idea. 

This is the moment where you spend time developing and improving the idea to make it fit the requirements needed.
