On essential knowledge and experience in the process of learning

One doesn't need to know every possible events and interactions among them which can happen within a certain domain of theorical knowledge and or experience, in order to rightly judge, plan and act on a certain situation belonging to that domain, if one knows the essentials which are the basis that guide those events and interactios and therefore, in some extent, the ways of solving never before seen problems as well.
