The Golden Gate Bridge
The foundation stone of the bridge was laid in 1918. But in the aftermath of World War I, the USA failed to pay attention to this bridge. Construction of the bridge began in 1933 and was completed in 1936. The bridge was inaugurated by then-President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
