As I said, failure is an option. Not everyone is cut out to be a freelancer. There is no shame in failing at freelancing. Some of the most talented people would not be able to succeed at freelancing.
So, if you tried for a couple of years, but you still can't get regular clients or earn a good living, you may want to think about stopping.
Freelancing is so much more than being good at providing your service. So there is a lot of room for troubles that have nothing to do with your actual work.
