Lighting can be a challenge at red-carpet events and premieres, as the lighting conditions can be unpredictable. Ronald James suggests working with the light available and avoiding the use of flash whenever possible. He advises using a higher ISO and wide aperture to let in as much light as possible and to keep the shutter speed fast to avoid any motion blur.
