Change is in your hands

In Al-Qur'an, Allah says:

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتّٰى يُغَيِّرُوْا مَا بِاَ نْفُسِهِمْ ۗ

Innalloha laa yughoyyiru maa biqoumin hattaa yughoyyiruu maa bi-anfusihim (Q.S. Ar. Ra'd:11)

"Surely Allah will not change the condition of a people before they change their own condition".

This means that start the change from yourself, no matter how small it is. Don't worry about the bad past. Leave it behind. Take the lesson and grow, keep fighting, and work. Start the good things, hopefully you can create your own future.
