- At that time uttara was pregnent the Abimanyu's son the grand son of arjun . While krishna able to bring Uttara's child to back his life. Lord krishna cursed ashwathama for his crimes
- Ashwathama was then made to surrender the gem of his forehead and cursed by lrishna for three thousand years that he will roam in the forests with blood and puss oozing out of his injuries and cried for death but death would not meet him
