Step 2 - Analyze Stressful Thoughts

This step is about analyzing the thing that is stressing you out. As mentioned above, there are three main ways of looking at stressful thoughts:

  • Guilt of the past
  • Procrastination (things you should do now but are putting off)
  • Fear of what could happen in the future

After you look at the situation from the perspective of time, you should start looking for other approaches. Other approaches include:

  • Is it a problem that needs to be solved?
  • Can I solve it?
  • Is it my fault? And so on.
