Unmasking the True Expertise of Criminal Profilers

The inability of any criminal profiler to provide even one sample of competent work product is a red flag. What most mean when they say that they are a criminal profiler is—either they study crime in some fashion (and are a criminologist or mental health professional); or they like being called a criminal profiler but really have not ever done that work directly. Most fall into the second category, enjoying what people think they do without ever really having done it.
