Jesus Christ Lived A Perfect Life

He took OUR wages of death so we don’t have to.“But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him...” ‭‭Is ‭53‬:‭5‬“and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness” ‭‭1 Pet‬ ‭2‬:‭24‬“He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf...” ‭‭2 Cor ‭5‬:‭21‬This concept is all over in the New Testament. These are just a few examples to show the concept that Jesus took our sin.

Christ Willingly Took Our Sin Upon Himself To Cover Our Debt

“O death, where is your victory? When Christ died on the cross, He gave us the opportunity to swap righteousness with Him in the sight of God. We have ALL sinned and become imperfect in the eyes of a perfectly holy and just God. We can’t harmonize with Him, fellowship with Him, etc. if we are imperfect. But if Christ advocates for us and says “I paid their debt with my perfection,” then we can be reconciled into relationship with God.“Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,” ‭‭2 Cor‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬

We Share In His Righteousness
