Based on how Jesus and the New Testament authors spoke about HOW we are connected to God, we, generally have come to the conclusion that our connection with God is relation, not transactional or a matter of following religious tradition. Not that those are wrong, but they can cloud the true picture of connection with God, which happened also with the Pharisees.

We were made for fellowship with God, earnestly and genuinely.
