To attend and befriend the fear body, we need to pause and contact the bodily fear with a gentle, mindful awareness, and recognize and release the stories and beliefs that fuel it.
Connect gently with and note the sensations in the body; the breath, thoughts, feelings and anything else that may arise like pains, tightness or tension.
