And if you're a one-dimensional kid, you develop a one-dimensional identity. π€ Think back to your own school days. What were people known for? There were jocks, nerds, the cool kids, teacher's pets, etc. The sense of identity is very one-dimensional. And what happens is that some of us will adopt the mantle of the smart kid. People will constantly say "You're so smart" and you start to develop the identity of a smart kid.
