Meditation is easy. Except that it is not applicable to all people. Some might struggle to think having to sit down, closing our eyes and imagining serenity and peace. But, have you tried it the other way?

Meditation is not just about sitting still. It is the moment to fly our thought regarding things that bring us calamity. The other way is by writing. Write anything about our feelings, thoughts, memories or our wishful thinking.

1) Journalise The Ideas

Sometimes, when we read, we don’t really know what we wanted to read. Just pick the book and let the eyes work and we got sleepy. But, have you tried reading something that brings our soul inspired, feeling like we wanted to change the world? Should try it once. Who knows what works for you, right?

2) Read For Inspiration

We all have our playlist. When we were sad, when we were happy. Should you create a ‘serene’ playlist that either not too hard to the ears or not too light that makes our brain runs to the cloud. Every people have their own frequency of receiving and giving. Choose our own and have it our way!

3) Listen To Music

For those having hard time closing our eyes while sitting still, imagining butterflies and clouds, why don’t we make it real?Walk by the beach barefooted, feel the ocean waves while leaving footprints behind. Or as easy as going to the park. Watching the sun sets. Nothing is better than feeling it in reality.

4) Walk The Thought

As Muslim, we have this one prayer in the middle of the night called Tahajjud prayer that can be performed before the entrance of morning prayer (Subuh). This is the moment where I had this insights. Waking up early at 4am (if possible), surrender our head and soul to the Creator. Nothing is better than having the opportunity to confide to the All-Hearing.

5) Pray For Calamity

What do we imagine when we first see the word ‘meditation’? This insight most probably will change your way of thinking about it.
