If machines are really good at hyper optimizing specific tasks and outpacing human at any tasks that are easy for machines to replicate, then human’s defensibility is to hyper optimize or be really good at being truly human.

The future of work is likely to involve human-machine collaboration where we can leverage machines to handle more routine and data-intensive tasks.
