Are Wildires Bad?

We live on a burning planet. Modern society has feared fire and has suppressed it for centuries. Without wildfire, the accumulation of fuels increased to a dangerous amount. When a fire does start, it grows way too hot and causes catastrophic damage across the landscape.

Now it is known that frequent controlled burns prevent the accumulation of fuels and keeps the fire from spreading out of control. Many species are evolved to benifit from the disturbance of fire. The fires will benefit the overall health of ecosystems and prevent the extinctions of species that depends on wildfires.
