This was one of the hardest steps, and it took me a long time to find the courage to do it. Unfollowing them on social media, blocking contacts, deleting old chats, and removing photos (as much as possible) – these actions may seem small but are powerful in helping you create distance. Out of sight, out of mind.
Once I took this step, my life improved significantly. Though I still have a few photos left in my gallery (that I don’t look at), not seeing them daily helped me stop dwelling on them constantly.
