Secular Rituals

Atheists and other nonreligious people may participate in secular rituals to express their values, build community, and create alternatives to religious communities:

National holidays, graduation ceremonies, birthday parties, sporting events, and daily routines like game nights or coffee breaks 

Secular rituals in atheist and humanist circles

Atheists and humanists may participate in rites of life, such as weddings, namings, and funerals.
