Knowing the history of anything increases your respect for that thing, if you simply say "India got independence in 1947" People be like "ohhh...that's good" but if you can elaborate it to them, tell them about Jallianwala Bagh, Mahatma Gandhi etc. Then they will understand how important this event was, just like that, knowing the history of your subject will increase its respect and importance in your eyes, what happened in history that leads to the invention of that subject, its Contribution to human society, you will come to know of many great names, who may becomes your mentor

Question Things?

Don't underestimate the power of imagination everything in this world got created twice once in mind then in the physical world. Imagine yourself having a conversation with your mentor ( basically have a conversation with yourself, imagining it with mentor is just one way) comes up with your own concepts, by questioning everything even if you know what it is still question it and comes up with different uses and concepts of same thing

Document it!!!!

Document it!!!!

Knowledge disappears, if it is not trapped in books, make a habit of documenting everything you have learned throughout the day

It's also a good way to see where you were and where you are now (how far you've come)
