Whether we like it or not, we are slave to something. You can call yourself free or a liberal person. A person who doesn't follow any rules. But is that really true. The truth is we are slave always slave to something. It can be to impress an individual, you can be slave to your own desire or dress certain way to gain praise or look certain way, you need to have this cause it's trend etc. We are all chained like it or not.

But can you attain absolute freedom? What if you do, it might be bad idea cause you might say I wanna break this rule, I don't wanna be polite, I want to be how I want. Then everything will be messed up.
The solution I can give personally to break these chains as a Muslim. is to submit yourself to true one God. Because then you'll just care that how God thinks of you. You will behave appropriatly even if people want you to behave differently, You can stand up for the things that are right without fearing people. Cause in your Mind you are only Slave to God. And by doing that you are Free. You
