People always say "Time heals", but I've actually never seen time healing or fixing anything.
Think about physical healing. Time doesn't fix anything. Your body does. If your body stopped healing your wounds, time would pass and your wounds would still be there. Maybe they would get even worse. -
Then you'll end up having wounds all over your body, and you'll end up not being able to live anymore. Not even wanting to, because of how much pain you'll be in.
Well, same goes with mental healing.

As time goes by, you'll just forget the reason you got hurt. So you'll think you healed. You'll think time fixed it.-
When in fact, the wound itself is still there. Because, just like time can't fix physical wounds, it can't fix mental ones either. You'll need to do it yourself.
If you don't, you'll end up having wounds all over, and you'll end up not being able to live anymore. Not even wanting to, because of how much pain you'll be in. And worse- not even knowing why you're that hurt anyomore. Just hurting not knowing why.
That's on depression.
