The fundamental feature of flowers, such as their pleasant fragrance and beautiful colors. Similarly, in the context of human nature, survival and a desire for dominance are considered basic feature. Fear and pleasure are opposing emotions, with fear often taking precedence due to its role in survival. In unfavorable situations, the necessity of fear for survival can override the pursuit of pleasure. This balance reflects the interplay between fear and pleasure in our lives. While pleasure is optional, when favorable conditions permit, it becomes a desire .

This concept can be illustrated through an experiment: Eliminating pleasure-related activities and in absence of fair(i.e. favorable conditions) can lead to a empty state because the basic nature of human behavior our mind process information continuously to pursue pleasure instantly or delayed. We are now re-engaging in activities that can benefit us in the future. During this phase, our fundamental feature to survive and dominate becomes apparent. This arises from our inherent fear of death and our pursuit of comfort and sexual pleasure.

This demonstrates that the basic feature of humans is survival and dominance. Certainly, there can be various modified versions of the survival and dominance nature, depending on individual perspectives which help in pursue goals in future which also help in persuing pleasure there or we can say delayed.
