The 10,000 hour rule basically suggests that to become a master at any skill, you need to put in 10,000 hours, hit the ball 10,000 times, miss the ball 10,000 times.
When you practice, the compound effect works. The more you do something, the more you get familiar with it and you start to improve at that thing.
To achieve the 10,000 hours, you need to spend 4 hours a day for approximately 10 years to become a master.
