Imagine for a moment two lush green planets with plenty of resources, food and ample space and opportunity for development. To each planet we send 1 spaceship with settlers.
For the first spaceship we choose from the candidates who were tested to be less likely to lie. For the second spaceship we choose candidates who are more likely to lie.
What would you imagine to be the fate of each group?
I argue that even given only this condition the people who told little to no lies would prosper on their planet given time, while those who regularly lie would eventually fall into disorder.
