I think in today's world formal education in India is required just for a marriage proposal as you should be holding a formal degree to be eligible to marry someone, it really doesn't matter you understand the application of the subjects or not. If you are not "formally educated" you will be considered "Uneducated Gawar". I know many of us would agree that this is all bs because you can literally learn anything without going to the college in especially today's world.

I am not talking about teir-1 Colleges as the network we build there is very important and handy in life.
