I hope girls know that "you are sexy" doesn't actually compliments their beauty, it rather compliments their sexual appearance. Because that's its literal meaning; "sexually attractive". The word "sexy" is different from words like; beautiful, cute, pretty or fine. so "you are sexy" isn't saying you are beautiful, it's saying you are sexually appealing.
