The key is to use coding to create something of your interest. That way you will not be bogged down by the language syntax. Use language features to create something better. For example, if you use a for-loop, you can create many circles. Instead of learning about the for-loop, now you are learning how to draw many circles using Java. This will drive you to explore more language features and you will learn Java in no time.
Similarly, if you are interested in music, start making simple music through coding.
Use coding for the things you are interested in. That's a great way to master coding!
