What Changed?

Dorothy began speaking English with a foreign accent.

She regularly came into conflict with teachers and priests for comparing "old religion" with Christianity.

She also had vivid dreams of vast buildings with large columns and beautiful gardens.

When she was 4, her parents took her to the British Museum in London, where she hugged Egyptian sculptures and told her parents these were her people.

She asked her parents to take her home after discovering a photo of the Temple of Seti I from Egypt, all the while explaining that there used to be more trees and a beautiful garden next to the temple.
